Little Drops of Water Plush: Our Lady of Lourdes, 8"

Our Lady of Lourdes 8" Plush

On February 11, 1858, the Blessed Virgin Mary appeared to Bernadette Soubirous, a poor fourteen-year-old girl, in a grotto at Massabielle near Lourdes, France. Over eighteen apparitions she asked for prayer and penance, told Bernadette to dig in the ground — where a spring rose that flows to this day — and finally gave her name: “I am the Immaculate Conception.” Millions have come to that spring since, and Our Lady of Lourdes has become the mother the sick and the frightened turn to first.

Our Lady of Lourdes reminds us that our Mother comes to the small and the suffering — and asks only for our trust.

WHAT MAKES HER SPECIAL

This plush is hand-designed by Little Drops of Water and crafted in soft, cuddle-ready fabric. She stands robed in white with a blue sash and veil, her hands joined in prayer, a golden rose embroidered at each foot just as Bernadette described her. At about 8 inches tall, she is sized to be carried through the day, tucked into bed at night, and hugged as often as a child likes.

Every Catholic Plush Doll from Little Drops of Water is hand-designed and made to be loved — soft to hold, with embroidered features and no hard pieces, so a child’s first encounter with a saint is something gentle, huggable, and entirely their own.
