Our Lady of Guadalupe is dressed in vibrant red with yellow flowers and swirls, just like the traditional image of Our Lady found in Mexico. Her bright blue mantle is covered in stars- all custom fabrics made specially for this beautiful doll!  When Our Lady of Guadalupe appeared to St. Juan Diego in Mexico, she was pregnant, so she is the patron saint of the unborn. The black sash tied around her waist was a symbol to the indigenous peoples of Mexico that she was with a child.
